I was too immersed in it to post (as is often the case with the New Moon; it takes me very much inward), but in the aftermath I would like to say a few words about this very confusing and somewhat scattered moon cycle.
The New Moon is normally a deep inward movement of emotion, introspection, self-connection, but in Gemini, things get strange! Gemini is an air sign, and what’s more, it is the mutable mode of air, so it is not only mental, it is changeable. Mind splitting, fragmenting, thinking in broken chains and bits and pieces of distractibility! Also a great time for crazy communications, off the cuff conversations and random insights and inspiration.
I had a good day yesterday; I did an interview on local radio with a lovely lady and a wonderful songwriter, which took place right after the precise time of the New Moon at 11:40ish am; this is the perfect Gemini activity so I was in the pocket! And after that I had a wonderful Skype with my grandbabies, also a perfect activity for Gemini. I assure you, I did not plan my day to accord with the Moon cycles; I make it a practise not to, as I prefer to enjoy the synchronicities of life unfolding in accordance with the grand pattern. I have no need to plan for or control it; when you allow it to unfold, it works out just right.
Gemini, as with all mutables, is about release of control, adapting to new situations, and in the air element, new insight, new ways of thinking can result. But don’t try to make it happen, just evolve. That’s what it’s all about.
